BASIC FLUID PROPERTIES AND HYDROSTATICS
S2-FM-202
- Bench-top unit.
- This unit allows pressure gauges to be accurately calibrated up to 300 bar, with an accuracy of ± 0.015 %
Description
Pressure measurements are critical in industries like chemical processing, where precise calibration of pressure gauges is essential. The standard method for calibrating these gauges involves using a deadweight tester, which balances known masses against the force of an unknown pressure on a piston.
The Precision Pressure Gauge Calibrator is a portable deadweight tester designed for calibrating gauges up to 300 bar with an accuracy of ±0.015% of the reading. It operates by adjusting the fluid volume inside the calibrator using a jackscrew, which increases pressure until equilibrium is achieved between the pressure at the gauge and the piston. This unit uses mineral oil as the hydraulic fluid and includes a spirit level, rotating foot studs, a set of weights, gauge adapters, spare seals, and a bottle of oil. Each unit comes with a laboratory calibration certificate for the piston and a traceable accuracy certificate.
